| We have seen a few skunks around the farm this summer, outside the fenced yard of course. Apparently our dogs have also seen (and interacted with) skunks, probably through the fence. Our big shepherd "Dandy" must have been sprayed, because she stunk like a skunk! I took her to our dog groomer, and the recipe she had from her Vet to remove skunk smell (actually an oil that stays on the dog's coat) is: 1 quart of hydrogen peroxide; 1/4 cup baking soda powder; and a tablespoon of liquid kitchen soap. Do you think it will work? |

| The "recipe" worked! Otherwise, she never would have been allowed inside my truck. K8 also brought her inside the house for the rest of the day and evening. |
What a treat for Dandy to get a ride in the truck, and go in the house! She looks great! Thanks for sharing the de-skunking recipe.
