It was a lazy Sunday, with more rain!

After Church last Sunday, K2 and I spent a few hours sitting next to our pond chatting and feeding the ducks and fish.

Of course all the dogs and cats joined us.

We eventually started hearing the rumble of thunder in the distance, coming toward us from the west. Grey clouds started to pass overhead. I aimed the camera straight up over our heads and took this shot.

We went to the west side of our front porch to check out what was coming. It looked sunny to the south of us, but...

...it was getting darker to the north of the house. The wind was really starting to gust and whip the trees.

Could it drop some rain on us? 

Sure enough, the rain started to fall.

We retreated to the dry safety of the back porch to watch it come down. The wind was blowing from the northwest and soaking the front porch.

Did I say, "...come down."? It was pounding down, accompanied by some hail! Even the ducks retreated out of the pond for the shelter of the house wall. We are very happy to have our prayers answered for rain.
