| K2 drove the 4 hours home from school in order to vote, so I delayed going to the polls until late afternoon so I could join him. I have never missed an election in the past 39 years - even when deployed at sea, I voted via absentee ballot. Since he was only back for less than 2 hours, we headed home for an early supper of t-bone steaks and salad - yummy. He made it safely back to Kansas City by 9:30 P.M. |
