Saturday, 28 May, lazy weekend

The girls worked crossword puzzles and did photo editing while I ...

...watched the European Championship between the best two football teams in Europe - Manchester United and Barcelona. This was the high point for Manchester U as they scored a goal to tie it up. Afterward, Barcelona proceeded to put on a football clinic of excellent ball handling and scoring. They spanked Manchester U. 

Aunt M treated us to a meal at the Bayhorse Inn. I have a giant Yorkshire pudding on the left, and the beef and horseradish gravy covers lamb, roast beef, ham, turkey with stuffing, roast potatoes, and carrots. No, I did not go back for seconds...

...but I did clean my plate.

Traffic roundabouts eliminate the need for stop lights and allow the traffic to keep flowing. Great idea.

The world famous Iron Men sculpture exhibit. The local government paid over 3 million dollars for these numerous, identical iron men embedded on the beach and out in the bay. Also, notice the large wind mills out in the bay. 

A case of life imitating art?

Lots of star fish, crabs, and shells.

Yes, there were other people enjoying the sunny day.
