Car for sale or Can you spot the snake?

A week ago Friday S called me at 7:10 A.M. from the hospital to say she had had a frightening experience on the way to work. She felt something on her hair and brushed it with fingers. When she pulled her hand back, there was a 5" baby copperhead snake dangling down, which she promptly threw on the floor. Instead of having a heart attack or crashing the car, she pulled to the side of the road and got out, but the snake had disappeared. Incredibly, she got back in the car and prayed her way to the hospital driving well over the speed limit. I later spent 2 hours searching and cleaning her car and spraying with cedar tree oil (repels snakes and bugs), but no luck finding it. I returned at 7:30 P.M. to take S home and to cover the floor and seats with flat glue-covered mouse traps ( you can see them in this photo). Will try putting a block of dry ice in the sealed up car and driving it out or suffocating it, then running the car with the heater on high. Soon after that, we will sell the car because no one feels quite comfortable about ever getting back in it!
