Going native...

You know you have settled comfortably into the Ozarks when you add a lean-to onto another lean-to...

I had Marshall and K6 add this extension onto the dairy shed/chicken coop to block the winter wind, rain and sleet from soaking the straw bedding and freezing the dairy boys, not to mention giving the milk cows and chickens a little shelter from the nastier elements. The boys spent the previous night sleeping out in the tent you see in the back ground in paddock #2.

K6 takes a break to re-fill the chicken's water trough. Hope to post pics of the finished job tomorrow night.

  1. I like the extra lean-to. With all the mornings of milking during the winter it only makes sense! Hey, I'm still interested in the essential oils, doTerra?
