I've been meaning to post, just way too busy

Our young fruit trees are bearing.

Poor "Sandie" has been slow to heal after her de-horning - a process I will not repeat. We had to take her back to the Vet this week. She is doing better now.

The paddocks were filled with tall grass.

The boys were happy to feed our 5 calves their last bottle of powdered milk - the 3 heifers and 2 guys are on grain and grass now.

K8 was not afraid to take on the tough job of re-painting the roof logs with a preserving oil.

He wore a safety line.

It took him awhile, with several breaks.

K7 held the ladder for him when he would come down or go up.

K8 finally finished it in the dark after I noticed he had missed a few spots.

K2 likes a clean and well organized work shop. He finished staining the final trim boards for the basement, and then installed them along the floor and around doors.

K7 and K8 are in an orchestra which preformed during Memorial Day weekend.

S's 9 ducklings are now living full time on the pond.

After several delays, we finally got some of our paddocks hayed this week. More on this subject tomorrow.
