We have officially moved to the farm!

The plan was to camp-out in the basement for the final 3 weeks of construction, but when we arrived Sunday evening with two pick-up trucks loaded with stuff, we found the septic system installed, but no toilets yet. So the 4 boys and I are spending our nights in a hotel room with three dogs...the walls are lined with backpacks, ice chests, guns, tools, clothes (clean & dirty), etc.

Here we are enjoying some fine camp-out cuisine - Subway sandwiches (with lots of veggies). Other meals have included dinner of canned ravioli & beef-a-roni, pizza with veggies, canned beanie-weenies, canned fruit cocktail, lots of pudding cups (chocolate & tapioca), canned corned beef hash, donuts with milk (chocolate & white), peanut butter & jam sandwiches, Mug root beer, Gatorade, and tons of ice cold water. K2 also buys apples & bananas, which I occasionally see the younger boys eat. Tonight was Sonic Drive-In.

We are up early every morning and at the farm by 0730, and work until sunset, and many of those tasty menus are not eaten at a normal meal hour.

Does it sound like a fun outing for boys? It is!
