Birds on the ground, guys in the air.

Our order of ducklings and guinea keets arrived last week.

That same night, a short, but fierce storm hit. The dogs and Jimmy the cat huddled on the front porch behind the wooden chairs. Jimmy and Lucky the kitty were booted out of the barn because of the little birds.

The next evening, K2 took his brothers K6 and K8 up in the man-lift we had rented to construct a steel building on brother-in-law's property.

K8, Dandy the dog, and K6 check on the ducklings. Dandy had too bright of a gleam of hunger in her eye while  watching the birds, so she is not left alone.
