Cinnamon, our 4-year old Alpine dairy goat, had twin girls today! One dun-grey colored and one solid black, both gorgeous! K8 and K7 stayed out in the goat shed through out the delivery - filming, photographing, and comforting. We still have one more goat expecting in late May, and two cows due in early July, so the Wanch crew continues to grow...
Great photos! The sky looks beautiful in the home page. The twin kids are very cute. I look at Cinnamon though and I can't help but feel for her after a delivery. She looks uncomfortably swollen between the legs. At least my babies do not get up on their legs and run into me after birth! I saw the darkest kid and thought of chocolate. Is it just me?
Yay for twin girls! What are you going to name them? I like your new feature photo of K7 before the pasture.
ReplyDeleteI like the new feature photo too. K8 recommended Cinnamon's Sugar and Ebony. K7 says we need to discuss it. I like the Sugar name.
