The bounty of our farm
A half gallon of fresh Alpine goat's milk and nearly a dozen fresh eggs every day. The pork is part of the 250 pounds we put in the freezer last week.
...and if you want fresh meat, we can send K6 out with a pellet gun to bag a tiny dove. In the Spring, we will be adding lamb, chicken, and beef to the freezer.

Okay, so wireless isn't working too well in rural America.
Verizon worked great...until I tried using it from the farm down in our little glen on the backside of a ridge. Then I switched to U.S. Cellular, then...
I am stuck with HughesNet satelite until the government mandates free high speed internet for mountain folk in the Ozarks.
K8 lost his balance while sitting on the edge of a trough.

The blog is back in action!
After a few weeks of non-publishing due to terribly slow upload speeds on HughesNet Satelite (over 15 minutes per photo), I am now happily blogging from the soccer field while watching K7 and K8 practice. Only one minute to upload this picture!
Who is providing this great service? Verizon Wireless, and for the same monthly price as Hughes Net.
S came home to the farm long enough to give hair cuts last week.
